How I Work

I provide an integrative, personalised approach to Nutritional Therapy. My goal is to promote deep healing and optimise wellness by first identifying why you may be experiencing a particular sign, symptom or health condition. I then seek to address the ‘why’ through personalised nutritional, lifestyle, emotional, and behavioural support. I focus on nutrition and lifestyle, and I refer clients to trusted practitioners when deeper emotional and behavioural support is required. The speed of recovery is very personal to each client and their health history and I cannot, and will not, guarantee any ‘quick fixes.’ What I can guarantee, however, is my commitment to being your personal guide on your journey towards better health.

Initial Consultation Getting to know you and your health journey

The Initial Consultation lasts 1 hour. This is an opportunity for us to discuss your health history in detail and discuss the health of each body system – from your digestive to immune system. We will piece together a timeline of the development of any signs, symptoms or health conditions which you are experiencing, within the context of what else may have been or continues to be happening within your life. We will also discuss your food likes and dislikes, your current lifestyle, and practical matters like your budget for food and time available to cook each day. We will then decide upon your personal wellness goals. The knowledge gained from this Initial Consultation will enable me to develop the makings of a holistic understanding of why your current health situation may have manifested itself, and write an initial Therapeutic Plan for you which you are on board with and feel happy to implement.

Testing “Why, why, why?”

I frequently recommend GP and comprehensive private functional testing from reputable laboratories to further investigate the underlying causes of my clients’ current state of health and examine how well their different body systems are currently functioning.

Testing is absolutely essential to understanding what is really going on with our health. “Test – Don’t Guess” is the motto which I was taught and believe in.

My comprehensive ‘detective’ work guided by the results of testing and up-to-date scientific research, enables me to develop a real understanding of my clients’ current health situation and design personalised Therapeutic Plans based upon these results.

I will guide you through any required testing, every step of the way.

Within 3 working days of the Initial Consultation and each subsequent Follow Up, I will email you a typed plan tailored to help you reach your personal wellness goals with a focus on food and lifestyle, and targeted nutritional supplementation as needed to accelerate your health progress. I love good, honest food, so expect to see plenty of delicious, achievable recipe ideas in your plans.

My Therapeutic Plans provide you with the tools to help yourself. I provide comprehensive dietary, lifestyle and supplemental recommendations tailored to suit your needs and health goals. I require a commitment from you that you are ready, willing and able to follow my recommendations in order to achieve the desired results. Teamwork is at the core of what I do and by working together, we can kick-start your health journey.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone chat once you have received your Therapeutic Plan to answer any questions or queries which you may have about it, at a time convenient for us both.

Follow Up Consultations    Keeping you on track and optimising your wellness

Follow Up Consultations last up to 45 minutes. They tend to occur every 6-8 weeks to monitor your progress and help keep you on track, although this is flexible subject to your needs. There is also the option of a weekly email ‘check-in’ when I can answer any questions or queries which you may have.

Pricing   Investing in your long-term health

Initial Consultation (last 1 hour) – £70

Follow Ups (last up to 45 minutes) – £45

My fees reflect the amount of time which I spend preparing for your appointment, and the time taken to research and write comprehensive, personalised Therapeutic Plans and study and interpret any GP or functional test results. I pride myself on providing safe, evidence-informed and highly effective recommendations.

I accept cash at the end of the consultation or direct bank transfer.
